Consisting of one or more internal layers of elastomer bonded to internal steel laminates by the process of vulcanization for catering translation and/or rotation of the superstructure by elastic deformation. Tested as per Section 2005 of Ministry of Surface Transport (Road Wing) Specification for Road & Bridge Works, BS 5400: Part 9 and AASHTO M 251.
